Pictured here in the foreground is a Butterfly Weed Milkweed found in Virginia. The orange flowers are very pretty and the plant colony stays at the same base. Monarchs do not seem to be attracted to it. Very rarely do I find a Monarch egg or caterpillar on it (3 times in over 10 years).
